Little Hands Growing and Cooking Healthy Foods
Members of COPA collaborated with Imperial County's First Five: Healthy Children, Healthy Lives Program to work with two local preschools to increase preschool-aged children's exposure to healthy foods, specifically fruits and vegetables. The goal was to provide positive, hands-on experiences through gardening and cooking activities. These activities allowed children to use all of their senses to help increase their exposure to as well as their enjoyment of fruits and vegetables.
